Hey everyone! This month we're going to go through all the aggro decks on the site and see what cards are played the most. What is an "aggro deck"? It's a deck with more orange battle icons than any other color in the deck.

For each of the popular cards, the stats we'll be lookin at this month are: the total amount of copies, average amount of copies per deck, the amount of decks that played that card and what percentage of aggro decks played that card. The rankings are ordered by most copies played.

Characters

I wasn't sure what to expect here, but I wasn't surprised to see [[Private Lionizer Ground Command Artillery]]. What was surprising is no InsecticonsCars is represented with both [[Prowl Military Strategist]] and [[Wheeljack Weapons Inventor]] making the top 10. And looks like air patrol and tanks fill out the rest of the list.

1. [[Private Lionizer Ground Command Artillery]] 71 copies in 71 (10%) decks
2. [[Raider Nightflight Air Strike Patrol Spy]] 67 copies in 67 (9%) decks
3. [[Raider Tailwind Air Strike Patrol Strategist]] 65 copies in 65 (9%) decks
4. [[Arcee Skilled Fighter]] 62 copies in 62 (8%) decks
5. [[General Optimus Prime Infantry Leader]] 58 copies in 58 (8%) decks
6. [[Raider Storm Cloud Infantry Electronic Warfare]] 57 copies in 57 (8%) decks
7. [[Prowl Military Strategist]] 54 copies in 54 (7%) decks
8. [[Wheeljack Weapons Inventor]] 52 copies in 52 (7%) decks
9. [[Demolisher Devoted Decepticon]] 49 copies in 49 (7%) decks
10. [[Captain Impactor Special Ops Wrecker]] 47 copies in 47 (6%) decks

Actions

The top 5 here is no surprise at all. Bold, double orange battle icons and card draw are exactly what aggressive decks need. [[Ramming Speed]] gets rid of upgrades that get in your way and [[Reckless Charge]] is just raw damage that helps you punch through the competition. The only surprising card here for me was [[Confidence]] but then again [[Major Shockwave Applied Sciences Scientist]] seems to be the flavor for Decepticon decks and Insecticons seems to have fallen out of favor.

1. [[Supercharge]] 1400 copies (~2.8 copies per deck) in 492 (67%) decks
2. [[Peace through Tyranny]] 1338 copies (~2.8 copies per deck) in 467 (63%) decks
3. [[Incoming Transmission]] 586 copies (~2.5 copies per deck) in 234 (31%) decks
4. [[Ramming Speed]] 558 copies (~2.1 copies per deck) in 270 (37%) decks
5. [[Reckless Charge]] 555 copies (~2.6 copies per deck) in 211 (29%) decks
6. [[Fight For Position]] 554 copies (~2.7 copies per deck) in 202 (27%) decks
7. [[Treasure Hunt]] 522 copies (~2.2 copies per deck) in 231 (31%) decks
8. [[Wedge Formation]] 486 copies (~2.7 copies per deck) in 181 (24%) decks
9. [[Roll Out!]] 473 copies (~2.6 copies per deck) in 177 (24%) decks
10. [[Confidence]] 337 copies (~2.8 copies per deck) in 121 (16%) decks

Weapons

Not really a whole lot to say here except for the presence of [[Noble's Blaster]] in the top 10, again Autobot aggro seems favorable to any Decepticon teams. [[Backup Beam]] has a green battle icon and bold but I'm not really sure what [[Handheld Blaster]] is doing. But hey, we're not exclusively looking at the competitive meta so we're going to see a larger pool of cards seeing play.

1. [[Grenade Launcher]] 1567 (~2.9 copies per deck) copies in 548 (74%) decks
2. [[Power Punch]] 816 copies (~2.7 copies per deck) in 303 (41%) decks
3. [[Erratic Lightning]] 608 copies (~2.6 copies per deck) in 230 (31%) decks
4. [[Enforcement Batons]] 479 copies (~1.6 copies per deck) in 289 (39%) decks
5. [[Flamethrower]] 417 copies (~2.6 copies per deck) in 158  (21%) decks
6. [[Sturdy Javelin]] 378 copies (~2.5 copies per deck) in 150 (20%) decks
7. [[Handheld Blaster]] 277 copies (~2.7 copies per deck) in 101 (13%) decks
8. [[Combat Dagger]] 251 copies (~2.7 copies per deck) in 92 (12%) decks
9. [[Backup Beam]] 230 copies (~1.9 copies per deck) in 117 (15%) decks
10. [[Noble's Blaster]] 145 copies (~1.8 copies per deck) in 77 (10%) decks

Armor

[[Composite Armor]] in the top 5 really makes me want to build tanks. I'm guessing [[Extra Padding]] is here because of the Air Patrol decks? Good to see Wave 1 [[Scrapper Gauntlets]] getting play, I feel that's a really undervalued card. [[Bashing Shield]] just gets armor out of the way and it comes with an orange AND green battle icon which is why there are less copies played than [[Force Field]] but [[Bashing Shield]] shows up in a lot more decks.

1. [[Improvised shield]] 1689 copies (~2.9 copies per deck) in 580 (79%) decks
2. [[Force Field]] 1008 copies (~2.6 copies per deck) in 395 (54%) decks
3. [[Bashing Shield]] 970 copies (~1.8 copies per deck) in 529 (72%) decks
4. [[Composite Armor]] 189 copies (~2.7 copies per deck) in 69 (9%) decks
5. [[Scrapper Gauntlets]] 181 copies (~2.1 copies per deck) in 83 (11%) decks
6. [[Medic's Protective Field]] 128 (~2.2 copies per deck) copies in 58 (8%) decks
7. [[Terrifying Resilience]] 105 copies (~2.7 copies per deck) in 39 (5%) decks
8. [[Sparring Gear]] 86 copies (~1.9 copies per deck) in 46 (6%) decks
9. [[Guarded Posture]] 75 copies (~2.3 copies per deck) in 32 (4%) decks
10. [[Extra Padding]] 60 copies (3 copies per deck) in 20 (3%) decks

Utilities

[[Matrix of Leadership]] and [[Energy Pack]] for [[General Optimus Prime Infantry Leader]] and [[Turbo Boosters]] for cars. Some card draw and white battle icons fill out the rest of the top 10. I really like [[Acute reflexes]] but I haven't had the opportunity to test it out in any aggro decks, so it's good to know that it sees some play.

1. [[Matrix of Leadership]] 470 copies (~2.7 copies per deck) in 175 (24%) decks
2. [[Turbo Boosters]] 333 copies (~2.9 copies per deck) in 116 (16%) decks
3, [[Energy Pack]] 176 copies (~1.8 copies per deck) in 96 (13%) decks
4. [[Pocket Processor]] 155 copies (~1.4 copies per deck) in 107 (14%) decks
5. [[Field Communicator]] 152 copies (~2.4 copies per deck) in 62 (8%) decks
6. [[Data Pad]] 143 copies (~2.1 copies per deck) in 67 (9%) decks
7. [[Basic Combat Protocol]] 121 copies (~2.5 copies per deck) in 49 (7%) decks
8. [[Immersed in shadow]] 107 copies (~2.5 copies per deck) in 43 (6%) decks
9. [[Acute reflexes]] 76 copies (~2.4 copies per deck) in 31 (4%) decks
10. [[Kinetic Converter]] 76 copies (~2.1 copies per deck) in 36 (5%) decks
