Sideswipe Left

Powerhelm (23)

When you see Sideswipe you see potential wrapped in a soiled towelette from a cheap BBQ place. His ability to untap when another friendly character is KO'd is a delight. When you flip him to car mode he gets the ability to gain +2 for each character in your KO area.

In this deck I decided to make his friends cars and go Blue/Black for a change. The heavy pierce should allow each of them to push their base damage through and once you add in [[The Bigger They Are]] a pierce 6-7 swing shouldn't be a problem since they're all 4 stars. Going wider also allows a better chance to Sideswipe to get a big swing if they take a couple characters out quickly.

[[Start Your Engines]] will allow me to flip Sideswipe for the +2, untap him if need be or untap another character for an additional attack. The card draw abilities of the two Decepticons allows you to cycle the deck if need be and Stakeout's ability will allow you to do an extra flip on Sideswipe. In theory, Showing Off and a Stakeout tap will get Sideswipe to 8 attack with just one character in the KO area. If you can do that early enough and with a [[Point Position]] in play he could untap for another attack if the character gets KO'd on the next turn. Being 5 wide gives you a fair amount of options for how to play the deck.

If you can hold out with little to no damage on Sideswipe until you have 3 characters in the KO area that's 16 attack for Sideswipe with Showing Off and Stakeout. If he's the last man standing Sideswipe and you play Showing Off you can get up to 18 attack.
