This is a fun deck i build together with my friend. He made the same version earlier but with Warpath (side deck with Acid Storm) to basically counter any Bold or Tough player. I tried with few decks and having hard time to take his deck down. Out of nowhere, i decided to make the same deck as he has but with a twist; [[Demolisher Devoted Decepticon]]. Demolisher doesn't has Bold in his bot mode description, but flip battle cards equal to his defense. This immediately put him to favourable position to "bold" despite Acidstorm on battlefield. His health isnt great with just 7 but together with 4 defense, he might able to take 2 hits from any heavy hitter. Besides, he wont be the first one to move but the Air Strike Patrol. They are the current meta and a lot of players actually build some good decks with 1 big bot (12* below) and 3 of ASP.
Let's talk about ASP then. With [[Raider Tailwind Air Strike Patrol Strategist]] on battlefield, each of the ASP (including TW) will get additional +2 attack and +1 defense when flip a green pip during battle. That makes this small plane BIG! At average, these planes can hit 7-8 attack per turn and they are bound to die during the defense turn. And that is what i want. I want to pump up TW to have +3 atk and +3 def at base before flip. In short, when all other ASP KO'ed, TW will have a base of 6atk and 4def. With Grenade Launcher + Bold cards ( Focus fire or supercharge), TW easily hit 15atk. So either Demolisher or TW can be the damage dealer during late game.
Now, the point of this deck is basically trying to overpower opponents that has 3wide characters. I can't say i can take down any 3W deck, but my chances are pretty high to be frank, especially if the opponent is aggro player. If i really want to be competitive, i would swap out Demolisher with either Warpath and Acidstorm for league games.
